What a beautiful restaurant inside, love the decor and the authentic cultural style. The food was delicious, popping with the spices of Ethiopia. Must try the handmade spiced lentil sambosa, perfect texture! The ladies were kind and inviting and happy to assist with the menu questions. Need to come back to try more of their dishes and their Ethiopian coffee!

Wow what a hidden gem A real Ethiopian/ African food experience. I stumbled across this restaurant while staying in Dandenong as I had a craving for some delicious African food and after searching online and reading some reviews I thought I would give Odaa a go and boy was I pleasantly surprised. Delicious food Friendly staff who go out of their way to make your experience enjoyable. I ate the traditional injera which is a vegetarian dish however I asked the waiter who served me if I could add some meat dishes to try and they did. Serving was extremely generous leaving both my tummy and tastebuds satisfied. They have a nice clean spacious venue which is able to accommodate functions and they also do catering. The lady I spoke to also said in the future they will have Sudanese food which I will have to come back and try.

I have been looking for an African restaurant in Victoria for years, and decided to try this place out based on location and reviews. I was blown away by the food and flavours (we had the vegetarian plate and a lamb dish). My life has definitely been changed for the better knowing I can get authentic Injera locally and will definitely be a repeat customer. If you are reading this review while decided whether to eat here or not, your decision has already been made, look no further and thank me later ;)

I’ve tried the ones in the city but decided to try this one as it was a lot closer to home. Hands down my favourite place for authentic Ethiopian food. Food took awhile to come out as it’s own by a small family but I can tell you it’s worth the wait. I came back a second time and they remembered me I was so touch. Definitely coming back whenever I crave Ethiopian!

Mind blowing food and a whole cultural experience. We enjoyed the lamb stew and the vegetarian plate. So flavoursome! The honey briz is a highlight. Nice music and staff.

Was a lovely restaurant with chill vibes but was a little dead inside during the week for dinner. However service was fantastic and we left feeling super full. This is authentic Ethiopian food so as such we ate it as it should have been - with hands! Great experience and delish.

Always love some Ethiopian food! We had the vegetarian injira plate to share and I loved the cabbage and beetroot. Definitely underrated food and an authentic experience. The atmosphere is authentic but it was quite chilly so bring your jumper :)

A great Ethiopian restaurant serving great food. I tried the raw foon dakame (kitfo) served with injera - raw lean beef mixed with melted butter, herbs & spices served with a traditional African bread injera, a small bowl of a red powdered pepper & a small bowl of an African cheese somewhat similar to cottage cheese or ricotta. It was so good, fresh & enjoyable. I visit once a couple of months & can't bring myself to order anything else. So good
